Before becoming a mum, I loved illustrating stories. But motherhood, and later homeschooling my daughter, changed the way I see the world.

Learning alongside her has taught me to slow down and notice the little things I used to walk past: butterflies laying eggs, tiny insects hiding beneath leaves, the changing seasons, and the excitement of discovering something new together.

Some of our favourite adventures have been raising butterflies, joining nature camps, filling sketchbooks with our observations, and asking lots of questions along the way. Those moments often find their way into my illustrations and stories.

Today, I create children’s books inspired by curiosity, nature, and the quiet magic of everyday adventures. I hope my work encourages children, and perhaps the grown-ups reading with them, to look a little closer and discover the small wonders waiting all around us.
